Sorry for the double post, but due to the relative… slowness of the site, I'm sure you'll understand
In my searching, I stumbled apun this:
http://soundtrackfan.com/blog/?p=180
An unofficial soundtrack for Volume 1 of Clone Wars! Volume 2 is also on the sight, but I assumed you'd all be more interested in this one. The quality is questionable, because the guy who cobbled it together didn't take out any of the sound effects, and only some of the dialouge, but what's there is great! And in addition, he included all the menu music- one of which, is a 21 second segment of the ARC Troopers theme!
I'm sure all of this- sound effects are no- will prove quite usefull to those who've been looking for it, as well as you- makers of ACA- if you want some good action music for an Alpha-12 scene!

Yeah, I share the same sentiments. I'm a bit of an orchestral music freak (in fact, I've taken to composing some of my own stuff for Besh Squad) , and it pains me when great stuff like this isn't realeased on a soundtrack. The music is probably the biggest redeeming quality of the 'new' The Clone Wars, but it's just not available anywhere.

I'm so glad you noticed that! Since Alpha is one of the original trooper batch, it only seemed fitting that he be accompanied by the ARC Trooper theme on his rise to power. Sadly for him, he's definitely showing his age when it comes to his thinking ability nowadays–can't remain on top forever, even if you're engineered to be the best.
As far as finding that music separately, I'm afraid I can't help you there. Not that I'm unwilling, but I actually constructed that track with careful re-editing of clips from the series–and it loops a LOT. There's still a little bit of background noise in it no matter what I do, but it blends in with the other sounds of the BFII backgrounds to the point that it's barely noticeable, thankfully. If I were to mute all the other sounds, you'd hear them instantly…and the magic would be lost. So sad, really, that theme was a memorable addition to the Star Wars musical canon.

I definitely understand. No problem! I tend to listen closely to music pieces to try and point out where I remember hearing them. I finally found a clip with the song in it and yes, it has a lot of background noise in it. If only they had made a separate soundtrack, but hey, you made it work rather well in the episode and it does add a lot more character to Alpha-12 as well as give more atmosphere. Considering his background and all. There is quite a bit of magic in the episode and the way you cut that track together really helps that. It's true what they say about how music and film goes hand in hand!
Anyways, been enjoying the latest episodes. Can't believe there's one episode left of this season! Continuing to support 100%. Great job.

I've noticed that in the latest episode (which I watched last night. Meant to watch it this month sooner!) you used the ARC Trooper theme from the 3 season Clone Wars series from 2003. I actually really liked that theme and consider it an overall Clone Trooper theme of awesomeness. I was excited in 2003 when that series came out. A series based on one of my favorite eras.
I DO love the new Clone Wars as well and the music for that is awesome, but the custom music by composer James L. Venable from the 2003 series is a bit of a rare gem. I was searching forever for that piece and to hear that in the series here gave me some semblance of hope that I can somehow acquire it (without the background noise of ARCs taking down clankers). Google and Yahoo never turned up much needed results, no matter the keywords I used. Besides, since I'm helping make a large scale mod for the PC version of BF2, I'd like something to listen to as I'm dismantling battledroids as my own custom Clone Commander. Unless under legal circumstances you cannot send it. If that is the case, that is fine.
~Regards,
James W. aka Clone Marshal Commander Phalanx CC-9190

I really like playing around with audio files, and some of the quotes are just so darn awesome that I would like to have them.
I used to use a whole bunch of the quotes when using HLSS in TF2 (micspamming)
Plus a friend of mine wants the one of the tie pilot saying: Hey, I'm not mean, I'm actually quite gentle! I like pretty flowers, long alks in the parks (trails off).
And yes, that is the theme I am talking about.

Why would you just want the audio?
I'm going to announce it more tomorrow, but the whole episodes are now available for download to Subscribers…
What music are you asking about? The one we're using for the main theme?
